Join us at Avenue 10 for the Amarillo Premiere of the award-winning, concert film
Texas Burning: A Lone Star Salute to Our Troops."
After the screening, enjoy music from Shannon McNally and Hot Sauce.
Texas Burning was created to honor our military, veterans and their families, and features a variety of musical genres from classic singer/songwriter to blues and a fusion that makes Texas music loved around the world.
Musicians featured include Shannon McNally, Patricia Vonne, Sam Baker, Ruthie Foster, Carolyn Wonderland, Theresa Andersson and Sherman Robertson.
From what started as a dream, that musical night has now formed into a concert film is spreading like wildfire across Texas. The special debuted on the Houston, San Antonio and Killeen PBS affiliates this summer. In November, (National Military Family Appreciation Month and Warrior Care Month) the show will be available to broadcast by all U.S. public television stations, including Amarillo's KACV.
Join us for yet another musical night hosted by Avenue 10. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The one-hour screening starts at 8:00 p.m., followed by Shannon McNally and her talented band. They will perform her "willfully loose, swampy country-soul tracks, her sensual, humid singing smack-dab in the middle.”
